3) Будучи употребленными в пассивном залоге ( Passive), рассматриваемые глаголы чаще употребляются в сочетании с инфинитивным оборотом, чем с изъяснительным придаточным предложением, вводимым союзом that.She is known to be perfectly honest (= It is known that she is perfectly honest) — Она известна своей кристальной честностью (Про нее знают, что она безукоризненно честная).
He is thought to be the best player (= It is thought that he is the best player) — О нем думают, что он лучший игрок.
He is known to have been the best player (= It is known that he was the best player) — Известно, что он был лучшим игроком.
